What did critics say about John Wick 3?

“Really violent- A man is stabbed through the eye on screen, A man is stuck by like 7 knives thrown at him, a mans jaw is broken with a book then his neck is broken on the book, a ton of people are shot, dogs maul people, a tomahawk hits a man in the head, and 2 men are decapitated by getting shot in the head with a shotgun, blood and brains splatter everywhere when people are shot, people are stabbed in the head and impaled with swords. 2 branding scenes, a man cuts off his own finger. Barely any language. Pretty good movie.”

Reviews

CineVue  Christopher Machell
“Precision, energy, and innovation move the components of John Wick, but the synergy that comes from their singular motion transcends mechanistic clockwork into vital, aesthetic flow.”
Arizona Republic  Barbara VanDenburgh
“It doesn’t just maintain the momentum built in the previous chapters but further ramps up the emotional stakes and physical complexity. It’s like gorging on candy for two hours, only you get to walk away from the theater without a stomachache. “
The Observer (UK)  Wendy Ide

“The latest instalment of John Wick makes an art of pain in a way that is curiously life-affirming. “
The Associated Press  Jake Coyle

“There is no doubt that these sequences are quite easily, in form and execution, a cut above what most any other action film is currently doing.”
New York Post  Johnny Oleksinski

“The John Wick action series doesn’t get bogged down in such silly trivialities as character development, plot, dialogue, morals or any of the usual rubrics most films follow. Instead, these fun flicks are just loosely connected, extremely violent fight scenes starring Neo from “The Matrix.” And why the hell not?
